Information for new members of staff

Welcome to the School of Chemistry. We hope that you have a happy and productive time here and that the information provided below will help you to find your way around the School and provide you with an introduction to some of the facilities available to you. It will also provide signposts to relevant information about Health and Safety, Equality and Diversity training etc.

If you are unfamiliar with Dublin/Ireland, the postgraduate welcome document provides information that will be of use to you in getting a bank account, finding accommodation, public transport, getting paid etc.

• Induction Document (important for all new staff to read this and to comply with the safety instructions it contains)

 

• Mentoring Policy (policies for the mentoring of new academic staff and postdoctoral researchers are outlined here)

• Registration Form (please fill this in and return it to Sinéad Boyce so that you can be included on relevant mailing lists etc.)

• Living Equality and Diversity (LEAD) eLearning programme (this should take between one and two hours to complete)

• Postgraduate welcome document (will go on Postgrad website when finalized)
